Lady Gaga left fans in awe when she revealed the bold outfit she had planned for the Met Gala's 'The Gardens of Time' theme. Gaga, who last attended the event in 2019 with her iconic "Camp" look, surprised everyone with her absence this year. While the reasons for her not attending remain unknown, she took to Instagram to share the outfit she would have worn, captioning the post, "THIS IS WHAT I WOULD HAVE WORN TO THE MET GALA. THE GIMP OF THE GARDEN 🖤."

The shared image featured an elaborate ensemble that perfectly matched the Met Gala’s theme and would have undoubtedly captured everyone's attention. Fortunately, Gaga didn't let the stunning look go to waste. She wore the AZIZ gown and a Philip Treacy mask to the world premiere fan screening of the Gaga Chromatica Ball last Thursday.

The all-black outfit was complemented by a white Selva look made from car parts, which she donned on the red carpet. However, the impracticality of the white attire led her to switch back to the black ensemble for the audience Q&A portion of the evening.

After posting the black outfit on Instagram, fans quickly expressed their admiration. Comments ranged from, "You would’ve ate everyone in that met gala," to "Mother is back on her weird s--t and I love it." The official Spotify account even chimed in, stating, "we were robbed 😭😭." Another fan summed up the general sentiment, calling it an "Obsession. Magnificent. Inspiration. Love you ❤️."

The Gaga Chromatica Ball continues to showcase her unique style and impressive vocals and is currently streaming on Max.
